Year Ends

Been very busy lately. I apologize for not updating my blog. Look how time flies. 2009 fast approaching. A lot of things happened to me this year. I’ve been blessed with so many things. Blessed with good and supportive family, wonderful friends and of course a loving and understanding hubby. New year is one occasion I always looking forward to. For me it’s a fresh start leaving all the bad things behind and embracing the New Year with a positive attitude with hopes in my heart. With happy songs, cheering crowds, fire works display and a complete family in New Years Eve. Those are things that I enjoyed most. I hope this New Year will bring us good luck, good health, joy, prosperity and PEACE..
Have a HAPPY and SAFE New Year to All!!!

thirst quencher

thirsty??? here's one video that will quench your thirst...then will make you feel hungry.....for more (lol) Enjoy!

IF ONLY.......

When I was still a kid I’m an active member of the church. I joined children’s choir, legion of Mary, lectors and commentators. I always enjoy outreached program. I like going to different kind of places and helping our less fortunate people. Being with other kids, playing with them listening to all their stories. It makes me realize how lucky and blessed I am for having a wonderful family whose always there to love, support and comfort me. Joining outreached program gives fulfillment in life. It’s nice and good to know that I am helping in my own little way. Feels great that somehow I touched their lives and make a difference. It made me think that If only I am rich, if only I can do it as often as I could, if only I can grant all those kids wishes, if only I can make them happy and let them forget the unfortunate and painful experienced they had and leaving them without any trace of scars in their hearts….If only I could…I will…

A very nice letter

I just wanted to share this e-mail I received. i find it cute, funny and really Smart.

A father passing by his teenage daughter's bedroom was astonished to see the bed was nicely made and everything was neat and tidy. Then he saw an envelope propped up prominently on the centre of the pillow. It was addressed "Dad". With the worst premonition, he opened the envelope and read the letter with trembling hands:-

Dear Dad,

It is with great regret and sorrow that I'm writing
you, but I'm leaving home. I had to elope with my new boyfriend Randy
because I wanted to avoid a scene with Mom and you. I've been finding real
passion with Randy and he is so nice to me. I know when you meet him you'll like
him too - even with all his piercing, tattoos, and motorcycle clothes. But
it's not only the passion Dad, I'm pregnant and Randy said that he wants me to
have the kid and that we can be very happy together.

Even though Randy is much older than me (anyway, 42 isn't so old these days is it?), and has no money, really these things shouldn't stand in the way of our relationship, don't you agree?

Randy has a great CD collection; he already owns a
trailer in the woods and has a stack of firewood for the whole winter. It's
true he has other girlfriends as well but I know he'll be faithful to
me in his own way.

He wants to have many more children with me and that's
now one of my dreams too.

Randy taught me that marijuana doesn't really hurt
anyone and he'll be growing it for us and we'll trade it with our
friends for all the cocaine and ecstasy we want. In the meantime, we'll pray
that science will find a cure for AIDS so Randy can get better; he sure
deserves it!!

Don't worry Dad, I'm 15 years old now and I know how to take care of myself.
Someday I'm sure we'll be back to visit so you can get to know your grandchildren.

Your loving daughter,
Rosie.

At the bottom of the page were the letters "PTO".
Hands still trembling,
her father turned the sheet, and read:

PS: Dad, none of the above is true. I'm over at the
neighbor's house. I

just wanted to remind you that there are worse
things in life than my report card that's in my desk center drawer. Please sign it
and call when it is safe for me to come home. I love you!

Girls in my Circle

When I was little,
I used to believe in the concept of one best friend,
and then I started to become a woman.

And then I found out that if you allow your heart to open up,
God would show you the best in many friends.

One friend is needed when you're going through things with your man.
Another friend is needed when you're going through things with your mom.
Another will sit beside you in the bleachers as you delight in your children and their activities.
Another when you want to shop, share, heal, hurt, joke, or just be.

One friend will say, "Let's cry together,"
another, "Let's fight together,"
another, "Let's walk away together."

One friend will meet your spiritual need,
another your shoe fetish,
another your love for movies,
another will be with you in your season of confusion,
another will be your clarifier,
another the wind beneath your wings.

But whatever their assignment in your life,
on whatever the occasion,
on whatever the day,
or wherever you need them to meet you with their gym shoes on and hair pulled back,
or to hold you back from making a complete fool of yourself .
those are your best friends.

It may all be wrapped up in one woman,
but for many, it's wrapped up in several..
one from 7th grade,
one from high school,
several from the college years,
a couple from old jobs,
on some days your mother,
on some days your neighbor,
on others, your sisters,
and on some days, your daughters.

Thanks for being my Friends !

So Pissed! scammers on the loose

letter 1:
Hello,
How are you? Thanks for the reply to my job offer and the interest in
my family.I would like to see your Curriculum Vitae (CV).Truly i need
a foreign Nanny and would be offering 550 pounds per week.I know that
there are a lot of Nannies in the UK here but its just that i need a
Nanny from outside,Asia to be precise that is caring, loving, motherly
carefree and well determined, that can take good care of my kids for
me but with the recommendation from you and that is the more reason I
may need your services, hopefully you will be my kid's Nanny and do
according to your words.

I reside in Lewisham,London and do not get worried about any
documents(work Permit and Visa),a travel agency here in the UK will
handle that for you as per your visa just scan&send the copy of your
international passport and CV through email to them, they will apply
for visa on your behalf in the UK Home Office and when the visa is
ready the UK Embassy in your country will call on you so that they can
endorse the visa on your original passport. If you have any other
traveling agency you could also use that.

I love my kids so much and would not toy with them. They are the apple
of my eyes.I work because of them and am willing to pay any amount to
give them the best in the world. You would be needing to settle the
Visa Procurement yourself because i paid for 2 Nannies in the past
few months which they did not turn up but went somewhere else after
their visa was approved and that is why i vowed that any Nanny that i
will employ will make half of expenses by himself/herself.Hope you
understand how i mean.I need a very serious person and the job is
available right now. Also,i use to have a Nanny that came from
Asia(Filipino) and she spent 2 years with us,but she got married and
relocated to the United states,so i need a replacement ASAP.

Your duties are as follow:

1-Supervise breakfast with the children in the morning and get them
off to school (Collect my 2KIDS of ages 12yrs and 6yrs old from school
at 3.40pm.)
2-Some Housework/washing/ironing as required on a daily basis
3-Supervise homework, music practice and fun activities or take
children to after school activities.
4-Prepare and cook an evening meal for everyone at about 6.30-6.45 Up
to two evenings child minding per week.
5-Weekends and Bank holidays would be free that there will not be much
duties to carry out.

I normally leave for work at 7.00am and get back at around 6.30pm
although some flexibility is useful.

I am offering a live-in position for two years with full board (we eat
well in this house!)
1-Separate Toilet and Bathroom.
2-TV,different types of video machines.
3-Personal computer already Internet on.
e.t.c for you and i will make sure everything goes on well with you,
with my kids.

Don't worry about the United Kingdom,it's a nice place to stay and i
hope you will enjoy staying here with my family and you will have the
access to internet, In fact i have a personal PC at home for myself
but my kids usually play games on their own PC, i will get you a
computer to start using for your own use.All expenses made by you will
be refunded immediately you get here.If you would be using the travel
agency i would be recommending i would email you the contact address.

Do get back to me as soon as possible and we take it from there.

Regards,
Engr.Brown Washington

Call Center Bloopers

Well Isa ako don sa nakaka relate.
Naalala ko nung time na nag aaply palang ako..during the initial interview isa sa mga tanong e why do you want to work in a call center?

HR: Why do you want to work in a call center?
Applicant: Because I have an amnesia
HR: Sorry? What do you mean?
Applicant: I cant sleep at night
HR: ohh you mean insomnia…

FRIENDS FOR KEEPS

Sitting here doing nothing. I remember the poem I wrote when I was in third year high school. People do come and go. Some people may inspire you and touch your lives. Some people may ruin your day and give you the best headache you will ever have. Whether you had a good or bad experience with them one thing I’m sure of is that they are part of what you are now and what you have become. Let me share this poem to you.

A message to a Friend!

In every words I say, in every actions I do
I always thank my friends, for having me in their group
They are the person who’s always there
Cheering me up when it comes to pain
They serve as a wall that I can depend
Every time I fall and driving insane

I cannot forget a friend like you
Who’s been my inspiration for one whole year
I cannot forget those memories
When I’m with you in laughter and in tears
It’s hard to say good bye to a friend
But I know someday we will meet again and say
HELLO FRIEND!

Another manic Monday.if I were to describe what I'm feeling right now? hmmm..one word BORED...so i decided to start writing.I keep on wondering what is so addictive in creating a blog. My boyfriend is crazy about it.Sometimes can be a reason of our disagreement especially when i'm in "senti" mode( arn arn lang feeling taken for granted hehehe)...well not a surprise in his part that he enjoyed it because his really into writing...There is this saying that "if you can't beat them, join them" So here I am giving it a try.
